An AI rewrite can sound smoother while changing a product condition or removing useful store-specific detail. Review the meaning as well as the style before accepting it.
This article explains a practical order for deciding what to adopt in Smart Agent Blog’s approval screen.
Read the edit summary first
Understand what the proposal is trying to improve before comparing individual sentences. Does that goal match your article? If a selection guide becomes mostly promotion, do not approve it simply because the wording is polished.
Review the title, body and SEO description in sequence. Expand unchanged surrounding text when needed to check the context of a body edit.
Use three review questions
| Lens | Check | Example to reject |
|---|---|---|
| Facts | Specifications, conditions and verified experience | Water-resistant changed to waterproof |
| Meaning | Audience, conclusion and limitations | One model’s feature applied to the entire range |
| Expression | Voice, clarity and explanation order | Removing important cautions to strengthen promotion |
These are fictional review examples. Do not publish a known error with the intention of fixing it later. Keep the original wording when necessary and make a separate accurate edit.
Decide on each change
Approving a change selects it for application. Keeping the original rejects that proposal. Unreviewed changes are not applied either, but an intentional decision is different from a missed review. Check the totals before proceeding.
Applying selected content adopts approved changes. Approving and applying everything accepts the entire proposal. Do not use the bulk action after reviewing only part of it.
Watch for edits made after the proposal
If someone changed the original article after the proposal was created, you may see a conflict notice. Approving even one body change rebuilds the body from the proposal’s original snapshot. Later manual edits can be lost, including in sections whose suggested changes you did not approve.
Cancel and compare the current article with the proposal before overwriting. Keep a separate copy if you need to preserve the original content. The approval workflow should not be treated as an automatic backup system.
Finish by checking the storefront
Open the actual article and inspect the flow between paragraphs, image positions, product links and important conditions. Approval is complete when the intended content reaches the reader, not merely when the button succeeds.
Record a short reason for accepted and rejected changes to build a consistent team review standard. Learn what recurring corrections are needed in approval mode before considering automatic publication.
