Always review AI articles

AI can invent features or use information that does not apply to your products. The store operator is responsible for checking accuracy before publication.

Open the settings page

  1. Open Setting in Smart Agent Blog.
  2. Select Manage for AI Scheduled Blog Proposals.
  3. Select Enable AI Scheduled Blog Proposals.

The remaining settings appear only while the feature is enabled. When it is disabled, no articles are generated. The top of the page shows the number of articles generated this month and your limit. On the Free plan, this is the cumulative total.

Choose an AI provider

At the top of General Settings, choose the AI that writes the article:

  • OpenAI (ChatGPT)
  • Anthropic (Claude Code)

Whichever provider you choose, a person must review every article before it is published.

Enter the business overview

Business Overview is required. Briefly describe:

  • what you sell;
  • who your typical customers are;
  • what matters in your products or customer service; and
  • what makes your store different.

Example:

We design and sell bags made from Japanese canvas. We focus on durable products that are easy to use for commuting and everyday shopping. Our main customers are aged 30–50.

The character count appears at the lower-right of the field. We recommend 300–1000 characters, and you cannot enter more than 1000. Auto-create with AI drafts an overview from your store data. Always edit the result so it accurately describes your real business.

Add themes and keywords

Enter one subject at a time and press Enter or Add. Saved terms appear as removable tags. This field is optional.

  • Product care
  • Seasonal buying advice
  • Staff product-development stories
  • Gift ideas
  • Situations where customers use a product

A specific phrase such as “care for canvas bags on rainy days” communicates your intent better than a broad term such as “bags.”

Set the audience and writing style

  • Target Audience: the people you want to read the article.
  • Writing Style / Tone: Casual, Neutral, Professional, or your own wording.
  • Article Generation Language: the language in which the article should be written.

Select Auto-create with AI next to Target Audience to see reader suggestions based on your store. Select a suggestion to fill the field, then edit it if necessary. Choose a writing style close to the language your store normally uses with customers.

Select the target blog and author

The target blog and article author are both required. You cannot save the settings while either is missing. If no author is listed, register an author first.

Choose which products to reference

Under Product Context, choose how product information is used.

OptionBest for
Do not readGeneral knowledge and brand stories
All productsAn overview of the full catalog
Specific productsA particular product, its use, or its care
Specific collectionsSeasonal features and purpose-based roundups

Choosing specific products or collections displays a selection button. Start with a small number so the article stays focused.

Choose the publishing mode

At the top of Schedule Settings, choose how generated articles are saved.

Publishing modeWhat happens
Save as draft (manual publish)Saves the article as Hidden so you can review and publish it yourself.
Auto-publish at scheduled timePublishes the article when the scheduled generation finishes.

Always use Save as draft (manual publish) for your first few articles. Consider automatic publishing only after you understand the usual output. If you need to check product details or wording, continue using draft mode.

Set the schedule

For each schedule, set the article purpose, publishing day, publishing time, and time zone (JST or UTC). One article is generated each week at that day and time.

Choose the closest Article purpose:

Article purposeBest for
Let AI decideLetting AI choose a purpose that fits the topic
SEO and acquisitionAttracting readers from search
Education and editorialExplaining choices, methods, or useful knowledge
Product guide or comparisonIntroducing products and their differences
CampaignPromoting a sale or seasonal campaign

AI adjusts the topic, structure, and paths to products for the selected purpose. Each schedule can have a different purpose. Choose Let AI decide if you are unsure.

If your store operates in Japan, confirm that JST (Japan Standard Time) is selected.

Depending on your plan, Add post lets you create more schedules. When the plan limit is reached, a message appears and the button is no longer shown.

Configure notifications

Select Enable email notifications and enter an email address to receive generation success and failure messages.

Save the settings

Select Save Settings at the bottom of the page and confirm the success message. The schedule is registered when you save. Save again after changing a day or time. Disabling the feature and saving removes the registered schedules.

Setup is complete when the feature is enabled and the target, author, and schedule have been saved.

When the article is generated

  • Each schedule runs once a week, on the selected day and time.
  • Generation can take a few minutes, so an article may not exist at the exact minute.
  • Finished articles are saved to the target blog and listed in the AI Auto Blog history on the Smart Agent Blog home screen.
  • Running generation repeatedly in a short period can hit an hourly rate limit. Wait a while and try again.

Schedule count and generation limits depend on your plan — see Plans and usage limits. After the next run, follow Review an AI draft.
